Liv Morgan details how she plotted to steal Dominik Mysterio from Rhea Ripley
WWE star Liv Morgan opened up about stealing Dominik Mysterio away from Rhea Ripley. The 30-year-old is scheduled to battle Nia Jax for the Women's Crown Jewel Championship this Saturday at the Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.
The Women's World Champion was the guest on the latest episode of Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast. During the conversation, Liv Morgan discussed stealing Dominik Mysterio away from Rhea Ripley on WWE television. She noted that Dirty Dom played hard to get at first but eventually, things worked out:
"Daddy Dom, he acted hard to get at first. But, I'm very persistent. I'm very persistent. And so, it all worked out exactly the way we had wanted it to," she said. [From 10:16 - 10: 26]
Logan Paul asked Morgan about a secret meeting she had with Mysterio in which they both came out of the same locker room. The former United States Champion asked the WWE RAW star to reveal what happened in the room, but she opted not to answer:
"I can understand why the fans want to know that. I don't think that I can really elaborate on that any further. But whatever you thought happened in that room, probably happened in that room," said Liv Morgan. [From 11:00 - 11:16]
Liv Morgan claims Dominik Mysterio suffered trauma at WWE Bad Blood
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan recently claimed that Dominik Mysterio suffered trauma during her match against Rhea Ripley at WWE Bad Blood.
Mysterio was locked inside a shark cage for the Women's World Championship match between Morgan and Ripley earlier this month at the Premium Live Event. Raquel Rodriguez returned during the bout and attacked Ripley to end the match via disqualification.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the INSIGHT podcast, Morgan claimed that Mysterio was traumatized by his time in the shark cage at Bad Blood. She noted that Mysterio was a trooper for his actions at WWE Bad Blood, and it ultimately worked out in the end because she is still the Women's World Champion:
“I felt sad for him. He has trauma. He doesn’t like shark cages. He doesn’t like heights, and he was in that position because of me. That’s why I actually got him the Daddy Dom. We got matching Daddy Dom shoes, and that was just like my sorry present. I felt bad for him, but he was a trooper, and he did that for me, and it ended up working out in the end. So it wasn’t all for nothing," Liv Morgan said. [H/T: CVV]
