Liv Morgan finally breaks silence on Dominik Mysterio making her cry during a promo on WWE RAW
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio are currently WWE's hottest on-screen couple, but their relationship started on a rocky note. Recently, the Women's World Champion opened up about the one time when Dirty Dom yelled at her during a promo on Monday Night RAW.
The July 22, 2024, installment of the red brand featured Rhea Ripley questioning the former NXT North American Champion's loyalty towards her while she was away due to an injury. Morgan interfered and insulted Mami by stating that gorgeous men like Dominik Mysterio preferred women who looked like The Miracle Kid.
While the Women's World Champion expected Dirty Dom to say "I love you," The Latino Cheat temporarily regained Ripley's trust as he verbally disrespected Liv Morgan, leaving the 30-year-old heartbroken.
In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, The Miracle Kid was asked how she felt about her ''Daddy Dom's'' verbal attack during the aforementioned promo. The WWE Women's World Champion broke her silence, revealing that Dominik Mysterio's harsh words were a strategic move to mislead her.
Liv Morgan explained that the Dirty Dom aimed to create a surprising twist for the SummerSlam PLE, where he betrayed Rhea Ripley and ultimately chose her as his partner.
"No, they weren’t [nice words]. But I didn’t know at the time that that was all part of his plan. He [Dominik Mysterio] said that to me to throw me off so that everything that happens at SummerSlam would be just a major surprise. So I didn’t know. I had no idea that he was gonna say that to me. I had no idea that at SummerSlam he was gonna choose me," she said. [H/T: CVV]

Liv Morgan says she has unfinished business with WWE star Rhea Ripley
At WWE Bad Blood 2024, Rhea Ripley defeated Morgan to win a singles match. However, The Miracle Kid retained her Women's World Championship due to a DQ finish.
During the same interaction with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Liv Morgan claimed that Mami was obsessed with her and Dominik Mysterio. The WWE Women's World Champion claimed that there's unfinished business between herself and Ripley, stemming from their encounter at the Bad Blood PLE.
"I don’t know. At Bad Blood, that was for me. This is done. Rhea seems unsatisfied with the finish of this match, and she’s kind of just a little bit obsessive at this point; [she] won’t leave us alone. So I feel like there might be a little bit of unfinished business that I have to take care of. So it might not be [over]," she said.
As of now, Liv Morgan is set to face Nia Jax for the first-ever Women's Crown Jewel Championship at the titular premium live event in Saudi Arabia on November 2.
It remains to be seen whether Ripley will influence the outcome of the match between The Miracle Kid and The Irresistible Force this Saturday.
