Liv Morgan fires shot at Rhea Ripley; makes bold claim ahead of WarGames
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley got into a war of words on social media following this week's episode of WWE RAW. The two stars will be competing on opposite sides of the Women's WarGames Match this Saturday night at Survivor Series 2024.
Rhea Ripley took to social media today to mock The Judgment Day's reign as World Tag Team Champions and send a message to Liv Morgan. She noted that the 30-year-old's relationship with Dominik Mysterio was fake and that the end was near for her.
"Tag titles - held 156 days w/ like 3 defenses (pathetic) You AND Raquel - run from EVERYONE (comical! So dominant) 🤭You and Dom - REAL couples don’t have to be over the top affectionate to convince people they like each other. (Fake) 🤭 Oh and this….The end is near 🍿🎉," Rhea Ripley wrote.
Liv Morgan reacted to Rhea Ripley's post and joked that Ripley should know about not defending her title that often. Morgan also claimed that The Eradicator was jealous in her post seen below.
"1. Two defenses (my boys are 2 for 2 🥳) and your point ? You should know a lot about not defending a title often 🤷🏼♀️ 2. Why would Raquel and I stay anywhere to fight ? We have nothing to prove. We are SMART 3. You’re just jealous because Dominik didn’t give you affection or treat you the way he treats me 🥰 L+D >>> R+D 4. Iyo Sky is my number one contender, not you. Cry about it 🤭," Liv Morgan wrote.
Bill Apter comments on Rhea Ripley's return to WWE television following Liv Morgan's attack
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently discussed Rhea Ripley's return to WWE RAW ahead of the Survivor Series: WarGames.
The former champion suffered a fractured orbital bone and was written off television in a parking lot attack by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez last month on WWE NXT. Rhea Ripley returned on the November 18 edition of RAW and will be in action in the WarGames Match this weekend.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Apter shared his thoughts on Ripley's return. The veteran suggested that Ripley had lost some of her edge in recent months but returned with her killer instinct once again.
"I'm glad Rhea [Ripley] came back because she's more vicious and violent and she's got that killer instinct again. I thought she was getting soft but when she got in the ring again on Monday Night RAW with the other girls and gave that unexpected headbutt to Liv Morgan. You're looking for a prediction? Rhea's team's going to win," Apter said. [From 0:59-01:30]
