Liv Morgan fires a subtle shot at Rhea Ripley after winning the Women's World Championship

Current Women's World Champion Liv Morgan has one of the hottest feuds in the promotion against Rhea Ripley. The current champion recently fired a subtle shot at Mami after winning the title in Saudi Arabia last Saturday.

Liv Morgan attacked Rhea Ripley backstage on RAW after WrestleMania, during which Ripley injured her shoulder and was forced to relinquish her title. Becky Lynch won the vacant championship in a battle royal by eliminating Morgan. In the last few weeks Liv's 'Revenge Tour' gained momentum, and she finally captured the Women's World Championship from Lynch due to Dominik Mysterio's interference.

After winning the title at King and Queen of the Ring, Title Sports Network interviewed the new champion. Morgan fired a subtle shot at The Judgment Day's Rhea Ripley when she was asked how long she wanted to hold the belt. The former Riott Squad member stated that she wanted to be the longest-reigning Women's World Champion, which is currently tied between The Eradicator and Bayley with 379 days.

"The longest reigning women's champion in WWE's history. You're going to have to near kill me to get this [Title] out of my hands. This is going nowhere. This is the very best moment of my entire career, because, you know what? I came into this company and no one expected a single thing from me. I beat all the odds and I proved everyone wrong. Now, I sit at the top of the division as the best women's superstar that we have here because I have this," said Morgan. [From 01:12 to 01:50]

Liv Morgan successfully defended the title on WWE RAW

Liv Morgan became the third star in the promotion to hold the Women's World Championship as she defeated Becky Lynch at WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024. Dominik Mysterio seemingly tried to prevent Morgan from winning the title, however, that plan soon backfired.

The Man invoked her rematch clause and the bout was made official inside a Steel Cage on this week's RAW main event. After a hellacious contest, Dominik once again appeared to help Becky Lynch, with the rest of The Judgment Day questioning Dom's decision.

Unfortunately, Braun Strowman showed up and chased JD McDonagh, which caused him to push Dominik Mysterio as he slammed the steel cage door on Becky Lynch.

Dominik Mysterio cost Becky Lynch twice in forty-eight hours, and Liv Morgan left the cage as champion. After the match, Morgan forced a kiss on Mysterio to close the show.
