Liv Morgan gets a massive victory over major WWE star; next challenger seemingly revealed at Saturday Night's Main Event
Liv Morgan defended her WWE Women's World Championship against IYO SKY at Saturday Night's Main Event. She didn't even need any help from The Judgment Day.
During the bout, she hit The Genius of the Sky with a dropkick and an uppercut in the corner. IYO hit a dropkick of her own and dropped the champion face-first onto the mat. She took out Morgan with a moonsault at ringside and hit her with a double stomp in the ring. IYO SKY went for a suicide dive and followed it up with a missile dropkick for a two-count.
SKY tried to perform a meteora in the corner but missed. Liv Morgan nailed her with a backstabber and hit a Codebreaker for a two-count. The Damage CTRL member performed three German suplexes in a row and tried to hit a missile dropkick but stumbled.
Liv took advantage and hit another Codebreaker. IYO SKY successfully did a meteora in the corner and tried to go for the Over-the-Moonsault, but Morgan got her legs up. Finally, Liv hit Oblivion and won the match. Rhea Ripley confronted the champion, seemingly teasing another match between the two stars.
