Liv Morgan gives heartbreaking update on Becky Lynch's WWE future
Liv Morgan recently appeared at the RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, where she gave a disappointing update on Becky Lynch's WWE status. The Women's World Champion yet again claimed that she had retired The Man back in May.
Lynch hasn't been seen for more than six months after failing to win back the Women's title from Morgan on the May 27 episode of RAW. Her contract expired soon after the match, leaving fans wondering what lay ahead for her.
Since then, Liv Morgan has gone around claiming that Becky Lynch had retired after losing to her. She reiterated the same during the RAW on Netflix Kickoff show while addressing the fans, who booed her when she made the statement.
"2024 was the year of Monday Night Morgan...Cry about it. Because not only did I retire Becky Lynch but I defeated Tiffany Stratton, I defeated Iyo Sky, I defeated Nia Jax," said Morgan. (33:35 - 33:49)
However, recent rumors have suggested that Lynch could be on her way back to the Stamford-based promotion. It has been speculated that The Man could return in time for RAW's Netflix debut on January 6th, 2025. It's safe to say that whenever Lynch returns, she could confront Morgan about claiming she had quit.
For now, the Women's World Champion is focused on her longstanding feud with Rhea Ripley and is set to defend her title against Mami on RAW's Netflix debut.
