Liv Morgan makes surprising claim about Dominik Mysterio's turn on Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam

Dominik Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam to side with Liv Morgan. The Women's World Champion has now given her reaction to Dirty Dom's betrayal of Mami.

Although Morgan attempted to entice the former NXT North American Champion to leave Ripley for several weeks, he claimed he hated her and wanted nothing to do with her upon The Eradicator's return from injury. However, he surprisingly turned on the 27-year-old, costing her the Women's World Championship match at SummerSlam. After the square-off, Dirty Dom kissed Morgan to make their relationship official.

In a recent interview on Big Show with Rusic & Rose, the Women's World Champion addressed her reaction to Dominik's turn on Mami. She surprisingly claimed she was as shocked as the rest of the WWE Universe, and that she lived in the moment with them when things turned out the way they did.

"It was I think exactly the same as anyone else, you know. I knew I was gonna go into that match doing whatever I could possibly do to keep my WWE Women's World Championship and to keep it away from Rhea. And I think when Dominik turned and when he chose me, I was just as stunned and shocked and surprised as everyone else. So, I was just like living in that moment with the rest of the WWE Universe as well," she said. [5:25 - 5:54]

Liv Morgan hopes to end her feud with Rhea Ripley at WWE Bad Blood

Last week, Rhea Ripley pinned Liv Morgan to earn her and Damian Priest the victory over the Women's World Champion and Dominik Mysterio in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WWE Bash in Berlin. The following Monday, The Eradicator challenged her 30-year-old rival to a title rematch.

In her interview on Big Show with Rusic & Rose, Morgan disclosed that she hopes to end her feud with Ripley at the upcoming premium live event, Bad Blood, and just be able to get on with her life.

"I want for her to be gone right now. I want Daddy Dom and I to go and live our best lives and not be annoyed with the Terror Twins [Ripley and Damian Priest] anymore. I've already beaten her. I have my man, my family, my title. I'm kind of done with it at this point. She's feeling like she needs to start her Brutality Tour, whatever that means, to get back at me. Hopefully, at Bad Blood, I finally put an end to Rhea Ripley," she said. [H/T: Fightful.com]

Despite the size difference in the two athletes, Liv Morgan has already defeated Rhea Ripley twice. It would be interesting to see if she can do it a third time.
