The storyline between Morgan and Mysterio began several weeks ago when the 30-year-old superstar attacked Rhea Ripley. The brawl between the former tag team partners led to Ripley suffering a shoulder injury, which forced her to relinquish the Women's World Championship.

At the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event, Morgan finally won the big one, dethroning Becky Lynch to win the Women's World Championship. She has yet to defend the title at a premium live event.
