Liv Morgan sends six-word message after major betrayal at WWE SummerSlam

Liv Morgan shared an update on social media today following a major betrayal last night at WWE SummerSlam. The veteran was able to retain the Women's World Championship after a Judgment Day member made a stunning decision.

Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at the Premium Live Event last night in Ohio. Dominik Mysterio was ringside for the match and wound up betraying his stablemate. He distracted the referee as Morgan connected with an Oblivion on top of a steel chair to retain her title.

After the match, Morgan and Mysterio shared a kiss on the entrance ramp. Liv Morgan took to Instagram today to claim that her love story with Dominik Mysterio is the greatest to ever be told.

"The greatest love story ever told 😍," she wrote.

Former WWE star reacts to Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam

Afa Anoa'i Jr. shared his thoughts about the Women's World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam. It was the opening match of the show at Cleveland Browns Stadium last night.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Anoa'i stated that he liked everything about the match besides the finish. The veteran wrestler claimed that WWE's creative team could have come up with a more compelling finish for the match.

"So match number one, I really enjoyed. It was a really hard worked match. What didn't hit for me was the finish. I thought that the match outweighed the finish. And a lot of times, I'd like to see the finish outweigh the match. It was just to me, very, very predictable. Just the way Dom slid the chair in, jumped up, and grabbed the ref was very lazy. It was just lazy. You know, match number one is the tone-setter of the show. Really good match and I just feel the finish could've been executed better." [From 7:33 onwards]
