Liv Morgan sends a two-word message to Rhea Ripley during her absence, takes a shot
Reigning WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan has taken a shot at Rhea Ripley by sending Mami a two-word message. The latter is currently sidelined with an injury that she suffered due to a backstage attack from Morgan this past April.
Ripley's injury forced her to relinquish the Women's World Championship. Becky Lynch later became the new champion after winning a Battle Royal on RAW. However, Liv Morgan eventually claimed the title from The Man at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
On Twitter (X), Morgan took a dig at her former tag team partner, as the 30-year-old claimed that she was better than The Judgment Day member.
"I'm better!" Liv Morgan wrote.
Jim Cornette jokingly claimed he ended his relationship with Rhea Ripley
While recovering from her latest injury and ongoing hiatus, Rhea Ripley recently tied the knot with AEW star Buddy Matthews.
Speaking on the Jim Cornette Drive-Thru, Cornette jokingly claimed he ended his relationship with the former Women's World Champion. Ripley.
"Well, we didn't want to say anything, but now that that has gone public, Rhea [Ripley] and I privately decided to end our relationship a few months ago, and I don't blame her for, on the rebound, you know, leaping into the arms of Buddy [Matthews]," Cornette said.
Ripley's return date is yet to be announced or confirmed by the Stamford-based promotion. However, the former Women's World Champion could make an unannounced return ahead of The Biggest Party of The Summer.
Since Ripley's injury, Morgan has gotten close to Dominik Mysterio. Liv also helped Finn Balor and JD McDonagh win the World Tag Team Championship on a recent edition of Monday Night RAW. It will be interesting to see how Mami scripts her redemption following her return to the flagship show.
