Liv Morgan takes shot at Rhea Ripley's "ex" ahead of WWE SmackDown
Liv Morgan took a shot at Rhea Ripley's "ex" ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. Tonight's episode of the brand is the final show before WWE Bad Blood tomorrow night in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rhea Ripley and WWE personality Cathy Kelley have had a humorous "relationship" online in the past. Morgan will be defending the Women's World Championship against Ripley tomorrow night at Bad Blood.
Ahead of tonight's episode of SmackDown, the 30-year-old took to social media to take a shot at Cathy Kelley. She reacted to a fan's post praising Jackie Redmond and claimed that Cathy Kelley could never reach her level.
"Cathy Kelly could never," she wrote.
Rhea Ripley was also involved in a storyline romance with Dominik Mysterio, but the 27-year-old betrayed her at SummerSlam and helped Liv Morgan retain the Women's World Championship. Dirty Dom will be trapped inside a shark cage during the Women's World Championship match tomorrow night at Bad Blood.
WWE Hall of Famer shares prediction for Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley's match at Bad Blood
Wrestling legend Teddy Long recently predicted Dominik Mysterio would somehow escape the cage during the title match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley tomorrow night at Bad Blood.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Long noted that the company didn't decide to put Dominik Mysterio in a shark cage for nothing. The veteran suggested that a member of The Judgment Day could free Mysterio during the title match at the Premium Live Event.
"Well, with Dominik being in the cage that's pretty possible it might happen but then again it might not happen. There's always somebody. Who you got there? Carlito? You got all those guys right there. Somebody might come at the end, whoever is guarding the cage, knock them down, let Dominik down. We don't know so we just have to let this play out. But Dominik is not in this cage for nothing." [From 2:27 onwards]
