Liv Morgan could win Damian Priest over with a surprise move at WWE Money in the Bank, according to Hall of Famer
Liv Morgan has nearly won over every active member of The Judgment Day in WWE except Damian Priest. A Hall of Famer recently spoke about how the current Women’s World Champion could win Priest over with a surprise move. That would be Bully Ray.
The Archer of Infamy has been unhappy with Liv Morgan and the rest of the members of The Judgment Day over the past several weeks. Morgan has been trying to get as close to Dominik Mysterio as possible to get back at Rhea Ripley.
She recently helped Finn Balor and JD McDonagh get a World Tag Team Championship match against Awesome Truth on RAW. That is not all, as she betrayed R-Truth to help the heels win. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes she could do something similar at Money in the Bank 2024 to win Damian Priest’s trust.
While speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Ray said Priest does not trust Liv Morgan. However, she could help Damian retain the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank to change his mind.
"What if — we've been talking about how Damian definitely does not trust Liv, as far as winning everybody over, Liv is far away from winning Damian over. But what if Liv actually helped Damian go over? Now he's going to have more reason to believe in her," Bully Ray said.
The show’s host, Dave LaGreca, noted that Damian Priest could get angrier at Liv Morgan for interfering in the match. However, Ray said that the fact that Liv could help him retain would be enough for her to make her case. The surprise ending to the match courtesy of the current Women’s World Champion’s interference will cause a shift.
"At the end of the day, what if he's in jeopardy of losing the championship and her direct involvement causes him to win? Now he's going to go over and yell and scream at her, 'I told you, blah, blah, blah. Stay away, don't get involved.' And she goes, 'The only reason you still have that championship is because of me,'" Bully Ray said.
Damian Priest will face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank in a match with an interesting stipulation. A loss for Priest would mean he would have to leave The Judgment Day. However, Rollins’ loss will prevent him from challenging Priest as long as the latter is a champion.
Liv Morgan has done more for The Judgment Day than Damian Priest before WWE Money in the Bank
Rhea Ripley’s absence has certainly dented The Judgment Day’s popularity on WWE RAW. However, Liv Morgan’s inclusion into the storyline has spiced things up again.
Damian Priest has been more focused on his title than his faction’s accomplishments of late. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan helped JD McDonagh and Finn Balor get a World Tag Team Championship match out of thin air and then helped them win.
The massive change in The Judgment Day’s narrative has helped the group in WWE. It could lead to Damian Priest’s ouster or Rhea Ripley’s return soon.
