Logan Paul confirms intentions to go after major WWE Championship; calls it "the ultimate goal"
Logan Paul has highlighted some major plans he had for himself in the future. He also declared his intentions of going after a major WWE title.
Logan Paul has more than proven that he can handle himself in a wrestling ring. In just his third wrestling match, he went toe-to-toe with Roman Reigns, who is considered a modern-day great in the wrestling business. He took The Tribal Chief to his limits and nearly got the better of him at Crown Jewel 2022.
If that wasn't impressive, the social media star then won the United States Championship in just his eighth wrestling match, making him one of the fastest-rising stars in the industry. He held the title for 273 days until he lost it to LA Knight at WWE SummerSlam earlier this year.
Speaking on the latest episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake Paul told his older brother that he would be interested in being his manager if he joined the Stamford-based promotion. This prompted Logan to mention his plan of winning the WWE Championship. He also told his brother that the ultimate goal would be for him to be WWE Champion, for Jake to become a boxing champion, and for Jake's girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, to win Olympic gold. Jutta is already a silver medalist in Speed Skating, having won the medal in the 1,000-meter Speed Skating event in the Winter Olympics in Beijing 2022.
"I mean, bro, the ultimate goal would be for me to become WWE Champion, for you to become boxing champion and then for your girlfriend Jutta to win Olympic gold." [20:47 - 20:58]
Logan Paul felt offended by Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight
Last weekend, Logan Paul's younger brother, Jake Paul, stepped inside the ring with Mike Tyson. Before the fight, things got heated during the weigh-ins when Tyson slapped The Problem Child for accidentally stepping on his toe. Hence, fans were expecting a slobber knocker of a contest. But that was not what happened during the fight as both fighters took a more cautious approach to the bout instead of going for the knockout. In the end, it was Jake Paul who emerged victorious by unanimous decision.
Following the bout, Logan spoke to Betr and said he wished Jake would've knocked out Mike for slapping him. The former United States Champion also felt offended that the boxing legend slapped his brother.
"I wish [Jake] would have knocked him out for slapping him, but the event is f*cking historical. I'm happy Jake won. I actually think him not obliterating Mike, we got to see the nobility of him still stepping in the ring and Jake got to fight a f*cking legend... I was a little personally offended that he hit Jake and I thought Jake was going to do more than he did."
After the match, Mike Tyson teased stepping into the ring with Logan Paul. It would be interesting to see if this match happens.
