Logan Paul gets called out by female WWE star
Logan Paul claimed that he was retired because he is a dad now, but obviously, that did not last long. He showed up at the RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, where it was revealed that Paul is officially a member of the red brand ahead of its Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025.
Taking to X/Twitter, The Maverick called himself "The Greatest United States Champion of all time" and reminded the WWE Universe of his return on the aforementioned show. This post by Logan Paul caught the attention of the Women's United States Champion, Chelsea Green.
At Saturday Night's Main Event, WWE crowned its inaugural Women's US Champion, Chelsea Green, after she managed to score a victory over "Michin" Mia Yim in the tournament final. The 33-year-old seems to believe that she is the greatest already, as opposed to Paul, who, while has had a 279-day title reign, defended the belt only twice.
Chelsea urged fans to let Logan Paul know, as the latter may be unaware of what has been going on in his absence:
"Who’s gonna tell him?" Chelsea Green wrote.
As of this writing, Chelsea Green is signed with WWE SmackDown. However, there is an ongoing transfer window, making it possible for any talent to switch brands. Meanwhile, Green already has a looming challenger for the Women's US Title.
Logan Paul teases his first program upon WWE return
At the RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, it appears Triple H & Co. have laid the foundation for a program that could easily play out following the Netflix premiere.
Logan Paul disclosed his intentions to go after the World Heavyweight Championship. This prompted the current titleholder, Gunther, to note that if The Maverick is coming his way, he would be happy to chop the smirk out of his challenger.
The WWE Universe seems a little off about this potential program, though—a sentiment that stems from the company's treatment of Paul as a wrestler on par with The Ring General.
As for Gunther, he is riding high on a wave of momentum as the year draws to a close, having scored huge victories over Damian Priest and Finn Bálor. While 2024 was the year two WWE Superstars handed him losses, The Ring General's overall record is still very impressive.
