Logan Paul sends three-word message ahead of WWE SmackDown return
United States Champion Logan Paul has delivered a three-word message ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. This week's episode of the blue brand will air live from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
LA Knight presented a contract signed by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis this past Friday night. The contract was for a United States Championship match at WWE SummerSlam, but Logan Paul has not signed yet. The Maverick will be making his return to WWE television later tonight and has shared a message ahead of SmackDown.
The 29-year-old took to his Instagram story to share an image of himself getting off a plane ahead of tonight's show and noted that it was "time to cook." You can check out Paul's post on Instagram by clicking here.
Logan Paul captured the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel 2023. Santos Escobar betrayed the Latino World Order and left brass knuckles on the ring apron. Paul spotted them and struck the Hall of Famer in the face to win the United States Championship.
Former WWE manager praises Logan Paul's rival
Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell recently noted that LA Knight is incredibly over with fans and claimed it allowed the promotion to be more creative.
Speaking on last week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, the veteran said that Knight is over with the crowd and they respond to his promos. Mantell added that the company can do almost anything creatively during his rivalry with Logan Paul due to The Megastar's popularity.
"LA Knight, he's over. He gets in the ring, points the finger and he goes LA Knight, the people all respond to him. So, the guys are over. When you have people like that, if you don't outrun yourself with the booking you can almost do anything with it." [20:53 onwards]

LA Knight has never captured a title during his time on the main roster. It will be fascinating to see if he can dethrone Logan Paul of the United States Championship next month at WWE SummerSlam.
