Logan Paul shares three word reaction to Samantha Irvin's WWE departure
The WWE Universe was shocked this afternoon when Samantha Irvin announced her departure from the company. The fan-favorite was not expected to leave, even though her fiancé left back in the summer. Many fans and colleagues are sending Irvin well wishes today, but Logan Paul's public reaction may be a bit sinister.
The Maverick is no stranger to Irvin and her partner, Ricochet, who left WWE for AEW just 113 days before his fiancé announced her departure. During his 2023 feud with Ricochet, Paul taunted Irvin and used her to get under the skin of The Future Of Flight. Logan and Ricochet clashed three times last year: the men's Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank match, then Paul's 18-minute singles win at SummerSlam.
Logan took to X today to respond to Irvin's departure announcement. The SmackDown Superstar left many fans speculating with his three-word reply:
"This upsets me," Logan Paul wrote.
Irvin has not publicly responded to Paul as of this writing, and he did not elaborate. The 29-year-old has not wrestled since dropping the United States Championship to LA Knight at WWE SummerSlam on August 3.
Logan Paul is rumored to return to WWE soon
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel on November 2, then a RAW taping the next day, to air on November 4. The WWE Universe is speculating on the usual swerves and surprises for Saudi events, and Logan Paul is among the names rumored to return.
The Ultimate Influencer's un-announced return is the type of major angle that officials sometimes book for Saudi Arabia events. Paul could be seeking revenge on United States Champion LA Knight, who is expected to defend against Andrade or Carmelo Hayes, or both. It's also interesting how Paul recently name-dropped a Bloodline member.
Paul has worked on three Saudi shows in the past. He lost to then-Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022 but dethroned Rey Mysterio of the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023. Paul then lost to Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes at King and Queen of the Ring this past May.
