Long-term rival reacts to major Adam Pearce announcement outside WWE

An award-winning TV host recently announced WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce as his guest on an upcoming podcast. The announcement, however, did not go well with the 46-year-old's long-term on-screen rival, Chelsea Green, who shared her reaction on social media.

The former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion has had a longstanding rivalry with Adam Pearce. She used to annoy the RAW General Manager to the extent that he was overjoyed when Green and her tag team partner, Piper Niven, got drafted to SmackDown earlier this year.

Canadian TV personality Chris Van Vliet took to X (fka Twitter) to announce Adam Pearce as the next guest on his INSIGHT podcast. The former Impact Knockouts Champion was not amused by the announcement and questioned the choice of guest made by her fellow countrymate.

"Peahead Pearce?!?? Really?" wrote Chelsea Green.

Chelsea Green pushing for a wrestling match with WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce

Chelsea Green is among the most character-driven performers on the WWE roster. Owing to her rivalry with Adam Pearce, the 33-year-old professional wrestler expressed her desire to lock horns with the RAW General Manager.

In an interview with Steve Fall of Ten Count Media, Chelsea claimed she has been pitching for an intergender match with Pearce. She also proposed a stipulation that the winner would get the General Manager position. Green is confident of emerging victorious and ending Pearce's run as the authority figure.

"I'm trying. I have been pitching for it for a year now. Oh yeah. I mean, look, I want an intergender match against where the loser, because it is going to be him [Pearce], is not GM. [The] Winner gets the GM position," she said. [From 09:39 to 09: 59]

For the unversed, Pearce was a popular professional wrestler back in the day. He was among the top stars in NWA in the late 2000s and won the wrestling promotion's World Heavyweight Championship five times. Pearce was inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2015.
