Ludwig Kaiser loses to ex-Universal Champion in first time ever match after SmackDown goes off the air
Ludwig Kaiser was on SmackDown's dark match this week and had the misfortune of facing a dominant former Universal Champion. In the post-SmackDown match, he was handily defeated.
SmackDown ended in a stunning way, with Jacob Fatu's addition to The Bloodline finally being confirmed after several months of anticipation. The dark match is usually meant to send the crowds home happy with a big babyface win.
In the post-SmackDown dark match, Ludwig Kaiser faced former Universal Champion Braun Strowman in a first-time-ever singles match. He was, of course, defeated easily, with the Monster of all Monsters standing tall.
Ludwig Kaiser has a big task ahead of him. This past week on RAW, he once more found himself involved with Sheamus but ended up being on the receiving end of a brutal spear from Bron Breakker.
From the way things are looking, he, Sheamus, and Breakker could be in the running for the Intercontinental Championship. If so, it would be absolutely huge for Kaiser, who doesn't find himself in Championship situations much at all.
Many believe that the German has a lot of potential as a singles star, and he will be expected to get a big spot in the Bash at Berlin show this September.
