Ludwig Kaiser reacts to WWE announcing first-time-ever match on RAW
WWE Superstar, Ludwig Kaiser seems to be taking a slow-burn approach to his singles run on RAW. After picking up a noteworthy victory over Sheamus a few weeks ago, Kaiser is looking to make yet another mark by taking out one of the biggest threats of the red brand today, Bron Breakker.
WWE announced the first-ever clash for RAW after what transpired last week. Kaiser interfered in Breakker's match with The Celtic Warrior. Their match was to determine a new number-one contender for Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship.
This let the monster out of the cage, as Breakker cut through both Sheamus and The European Elegance with Spears. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) today, Kaiser hyped up his upcoming match with the former NXT Champion.
"Tomorrow #LK #EuropeanElegance #APlusEVERYTHING," Kaiser wrote.
The main shot of Bron Breakker Spearing Ludwig Kaiser was reportedly planned for the whole day ahead of the red brand's show last week. Sources within the company are seemingly very happy with what the two stars pulled off.
Could Ludwig Kaiser get involved in the WWE Intercontinental Championship scene?
It appears Sami Zayn is the target of two powerhouses, and then some. Bron Breakker walked out during Zayn's promo to present himself as the new number-one contender last week. He was interrupted by Sheamus.
After the two decided to settle things in the ring, Zayn joined the commentary team to find out who would be next to challenge him. However, it was Ludwig Kaiser who made the difference. The German grappler caused the DQ, which enraged Breakker. The move further continued the rivalry between him and Sheamus.
Kaiser has always stood by Gunther's side as the latter reigned supreme as the undisputed WWE Intercontinental Champion between 2022 to 2024. Many had speculated that he was the heir to the second-oldest belt in WWE history. But it was Zayn who got there first.
As for The Ring General, he has moved on to bigger and better things, so to speak. It's not out of the realm of possibility that all of the aforementioned names are featured extensively in the title picture as we head into the summer.
Who knows? Maybe Ludwig Kaiser is the next Intercontinental Champion. Only time will tell.
