Ludwig Kaiser won't surpass Gunther, says WWE veteran, for a major reason
Gunther and Ludwigh Kaiser have been inseparable in WWE since they formed Imperium and made their main roster debuts. However, Dutch Mantell thinks Kaiser won't surpass The Ring General as a bigger heel due to a major reason.
In 2022, Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther appeared on WWE's main roster and started their journey under the old regime. However, The Ring General became the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion before capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam this year.
Meanwhile, Kaiser broke out as a tag team star and started his journey as a singles competitor. Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran stated the 34-year-old star will become a very good heel but won't surpass Gunther due to being in his shadow.
"[Ludwig] Kaiser, I think he's a good enough heel and a good enough worker and snobby enough to make a lot of people hate him. I don't know how far he'll go, but judging from Triple H, if he put him in a story and kind of pushed him a little bit and got behind him a little bit, I think he could be a great, great heel," Mantell said.
He added:
"Maybe not as good as Gunther, because he's in Gunther's shadow, but I think when they get ready to do something with Kaiser, I think it's slapping him in the face, and all they got to do is a little thing, and I think he could take off to the races. I think do," Mantell said. [From 01:16 to 02:05]

Ludwig Kaiser recently teased a turn on Gunther heading into WWE Bad Blood
Earlier this year, Ludwig Kaiser started his journey on Monday Night RAW as a singles competitor after turning on Giovani Vinci. The 34-year-old star immediately entered into a feud with Sheamus.
Later, the star had a few notable matches against Bron Breakker and Randy Orton in the coming months. Earlier this month, he teased a turn on Gunther and wanted to go after the World Heavyweight Championship over Sami Zayn.
However, it was a ruse that allowed Imperium to gain an advantage over Sami Zayn. Luckily for the former Honorary Uce, he backed up and sent Kaiser packing. Later, the former Intercontinental Champion defeated Ludwig Kaiser on WWE RAW.
