Lyra Valkyria makes huge personal announcement outside WWE
WWE Superstar Lyra Valkyria recently took to social media to make an announcement outside the Stamford-based promotion. The 27-year-old has been signed with World Wrestling Entertainment since 2020.
Valkyria started her career with WWE's developmental territory in The United Kingdom but shifted to NXT in the United States in 2022. The star made a huge name on the white and gold brand and won the NXT Women's Championship. She was called up to the main roster after the 2024 Draft and has since showcased her incredible skills against some of the best names, but she has yet to win anything significant.
Lyra Valkyria recently took to Instagram to send an emotional message about her engagement. The former WWE NXT Women's Champion wrote that she couldn't have thought of a better way to celebrate her 10th anniversary with LJ Cleary than getting engaged.
"Can't think of a better way to celebrate 10 amazing years, than promising you a lifetime more. I love you @lj_cleary 🖤 13/09/2024 💍," she wrote.

WWE star Lyra Valkyria shared what she learned from Becky Lynch
During an edition of the Casual Conversations with The Classic podcast, Lyra Valkyria said that she got inspiration and motivation from Becky Lynch to always be confident in who you are and what you can do.
The two stars have come face to face in WWE, with Valkyria being the one to dethrone Becky Lynch en route to her NXT Women's Championship win.
"Becky's [Lynch] biggest thing is always like embracing who you are and being confident in what you bring to the table and her telling me to be confident in what I bring to the table and feeling like what she sees what I bring to the table, obviously inspires me and motivates me a lot," she said.
Many fans want Lyra Valkyria to win a major singles title soon on the main roster. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the RAW star's future.
