Major Bloodline mistake from tag team Gauntlet match pointed out by veteran after SmackDown (Exclusive)

It was another week of Bloodline domination as the group won the tag team Gauntlet match to become the new #1 contenders for the titles. Following the show, Dutch Mantell agreed that WWE made a mistake in booking the SmackDown match.

Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin began the proceedings against Legado del Fantasma, who were the first to get eliminated from the match. The Street Profits were up next, and the popular duo put on an impressive performance, eliminating multiple teams before Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga entered the match as the final team.

As expected, The Bloodline won, courtesy of a flurry of moves from Jacob Fatu. While reviewing the match on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell and show host Rick Ucchino felt that WWE could have done a better job of building The Bloodline as a force to reckon with by booking them to start the tag team Gauntlet match.

Dutch Mantell noted that having the Samoan faction destroy every team would have made them look better. The creative direction of SmackDown might also not have been good for The Street Profits' image.

Mantell discussed:

"I agree with you. They would have started first and went through the whole deal, now they have beaten several teams and the last team, a fresh team. So, I agree with you there but I don't know who put together but, there was a better way to put that together." [44:00 onwards]

The new Bloodline has the opportunity to win some gold as Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga are the #1 contenders for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa's WWE Tag Team Championship.

The title match will take place next week on SmackDown, and the belts could very well change hands.
