Major championship to be defended at WWE Crown Jewel 63 days after changing hands at PLE
It was announced on the latest episode of SmackDown that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel. It would be 63 days since the title changed hands at a premium live event.
Two weeks ago on the blue brand, Jade and Bianca put the gold on the line against The Meta-Four's Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. They have defended the Women's Tag Team Championship thrice since winning it at Bash in Berlin on August 31.
IYO SKY and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL are another tag team that challenged Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the title. Piper Niven and Chelsea Green have also been involved in the tag title picture. On SmackDown this week, Nick Aldis informed all eight women mentioned above that they will compete in a Fatal Four-way match at Crown Jewel for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
In Saudi Arabia, it'll be Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs. Damage CTRL vs. Piper Niven and Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.
The women's tag title hasn't been defended at a PLE in 63 days, and it'll finally be up for grabs next week.
