Major championship match confirmed for upcoming WWE show; big tag team break-up teased on SmackDown

On the latest episode of SmackDown, it was announced that the WWE Tag Team Championship will be on the line next week. The current titleholders are Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, but they might not be a team for very long.

During the blue brand this week, Theory was involved in a backstage segment with Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano of DIY. Gargano, his former ally in The Way, warned him about Grayson Waller. He told Austin Theory that the Aussie star is not his friend, and that he doesn't care about him.

This wasn't the first time that the 26-year-old star was warned about his tag team partner. He even heard the latter talking negatively about him to the commentators at one point during a show. Johnny Gargano also told Austin Theory that Grayson Waller is only using him to keep the WWE Tag Team Championship.

When Austin was about to speak, Waller blindsided Gargano and attacked DIY. WWE announced that next week on SmackDown, the tag titles will be on the line between the two teams. Austin Theory will have a big decision to make, as it seems like he too has his doubts about Waller.

It'll be interesting to see which team will walk out of Canada as the WWE Tag Team Champion on SmackDown next week.
