Major changes expected for WWE RAW and SmackDown - Reports
WWE is all set to introduce some major changes to its television schedule imminently. The Stamford-based promotion will tape two shows on the same day for both RAW and SmackDown, respectively, in the coming month.
A recent report by PWInsider has suggested that the Triple-led company will tape the October 14 episode of RAW right after the October 7 live edition of the red brand's show from St. Louis, Missouri, at the Enterprise Center. The Monday night show will return to its two-hour run time for the first time since 2012.
Additionally, the October 25 episode of SmackDown in Brooklyn, New York, at the Barclays Center will see the promotion host the taping for the following week's edition of the blue brand as well. WWE will be taping the November 1 episode of the Friday night show early as the promotion prepares to travel to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2024 on November 2.
Roman Reigns will compete at WWE Crown Jewel 2024
Roman Reigns is preparing for his first match since his return from hiatus, at Bad Blood 2024, next Saturday. The Original Tribal Chief will team up with former rival Cody Rhodes to take on a common enemy in the form of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio says Roman Reigns will most likely compete at Crown Jewel 2024 PLE on November 2, 2024. Although the name of his possible opponent was not suggested in the report, according to predictions either Solo Sikoa or Jacob Fatu could face The OTC in singles competition at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
The same report also said that The Head of the Table would “definitely” compete at Survivor Series 2024 PLE. It will be interesting to see Roman Reigns back inside the squared circle with the WWE Universe firmly behind him.
