Major changes will happen to top WWE faction after SummerSlam, says ex-host
WWE currently has several factions on Monday Night RAW and SmackDown. A former WWE host believes one of these groups will break up after SummerSlam.
The faction in question is The Judgment Day. Two group members are booked to compete at The Biggest Party of the Summer. While Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther, Rhea Ripley will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship. While The Eradicator and The Archer of Infamy are seemingly turning babyface, Matt Camp thinks it would not be long before the two split from The Judgment Day.
The former RAW Talk host pointed out that the company is apparently heading in that direction with that storyline:
"It feels like we're gonna get to Rhea and Priest as the babyfaces breaking off from Judgment Day and, you know, like the old DX," he said. [38:32 - 38:41]
Matt Camp thinks a Judgment Day member could be conspiring with Liv Morgan on WWE RAW
Liv Morgan has played games with The Judgment Day for several weeks on WWE RAW. While she seemingly failed to seduce Dominik Mysterio and lure him away from Rhea Ripley, Matt Camp suggested another Judgment Day member might be secretly working with the Women's World Champion behind the faction's back.
On his podcast, The Wrestling Matt, Camp claimed Finn Balor could be Morgan's co-conspirator after dropping multiple hints about a potential relationship with the 30-year-old on the red brand over the past few months:
"I do think there's something to Finn and Liv being in on all of it because there was one of those Easter Eggs months ago of Liv talking to Finn. There is that," he said.
The Judgment Day has been a dominating faction for nearly two years. It would be interesting to see what the future holds for the group if Priest and Ripley decide to split.
