Major current WWE champion wants big match vs. Rhea Ripley: "I can't wait till we meet at that mountaintop"

A current WWE champion recently expressed her desire to have a one-on-one match against Rhea Ripley. She claimed that she and The Eradicator have risen to the top in a similar manner.

Ripley and Bianca Belair shared the ring several times in NXT. However, they only went head-to-head once during a Gauntlet Match on RAW after their promotion to the main roster. While The Eradicator is currently on the red brand, The EST of WWE can appear on all three brands as she and Jade Cargill hold the Women's Tag Team Championship.

In a recent interview with Good Karma Wrestling, Belair disclosed that she would like to have a big match against Ripley. The 35-year-old said she felt that she and Ripley were climbing opposite sides of the same mountain, stating that they had had parallel journeys.

"Yes, definitely I feel like we've worked a little bit, we've always come in close proximity, but we haven't had like that big match, definitely Rhea Ripley. I feel like we came in NXT together. I feel like we've been on the opposite sides of the mountain climbing together, our journeys are kinda parallel," she said.

Belair recalled Ripley and her winning their first women's world titles respectively at WrestleMania 37. She added that she could not wait to meet The Eradicator on the mountaintop and have a feud and a storyline with her.

"You know, WrestleMania, we got our first titles at WrestleMania together in the same WrestleMania, I walked out SmackDown Women's Champion, she defeated Asuka at that same WrestleMania and walked out as RAW Women's Champion. We were the last two in the Royal Rumble. We were on the cover of the video game together. Like, we're both been on opposite sides of the mountain. I can't wait till we meet at that mountaintop together and have that amazing feud and storyline," she added. [9:30 - 10:17]

Bianca Belair also addressed her goals in WWE

Over the past few years, Bianca Belair won several championships, along with the 2021 Women's Royal Rumble Match. However, the EST of WWE disclosed that she still has goals to accomplish in the Stamford-based company.

In her interview with Good Karma Wrestling, she revealed that she wants to main-event Night Two of WrestleMania. The WWE Women's Tag Team Champion also desires to compete in a non-title match at The Show of Shows.

"I've accomplished a lot so quickly. I've main-evented WrestleMania Night One, I would love to main-event WrestleMania Night Two because I feel like that's a whole other status type of thing. I would love to be part of a women's match that doesn't even have a title," she said.

Belair and her partner, Jade Cargill, will defend their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Damage CTRL, Meta-Four, and Chelsea Green & Piper Niven at Crown Jewel next Saturday. It will be interesting to see if the reigning champions can retain their title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
