Major current WWE Superstar will be the one to save The Bloodline and not Roman Reigns, says Sam Roberts
Roman Reigns has been trying to regain leadership of The Bloodline since his return at SummerSlam. However, WWE analyst Sam Roberts believes he would not be the one to save the faction.
Over the past several weeks, Reigns and Solo Sikoa have been fighting over the Tribal Chief status. While Sikoa has Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu by his side, Reigns is seemingly heading towards reuniting the original Bloodline. After Jimmy Uso returned to rejoin forces with the former Undisputed WWE Champion, the two now seek to recruit Jey Uso's help. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts predicted that Jey would be the savior of The Bloodline.
The RAW Talk host pointed out that while The Usos once needed Reigns to prosper, the latter now needs Jey to do the same. Roberts claimed that the Intercontinental Champion now saving the family instead of the Original Tribal Chief would be a "full circle Jey Uso redemption arc story" that has been being told for four years:
"I think that Jey Uso is gonna be involved with The Bloodline. I think that this whole thing that we're seeing is a redemption arc for Jey Uso. A year ago at SummerSlam 2023, people said The Bloodline story is really a Jey Uso story and there was an argument to that even then," he said.
Roberts continued:
"But that story is still being told. I think the story was not Jey Uso wins the WWE Championship from Roman Reigns. I think the story was that at one point The Usos needed Roman Reigns to prosper. And now, it's Jey Uso that Roman Reigns needs to allow him to prosper. I think Jey Uso being the one to save The Bloodline and not Roman Reigns is that full-circle Jey Uso redemption arc story that we've been telling for four years now." [From 39:55 to 40:55]
Sam Roberts thinks Jey Uso will lose the Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW
Jey Uso will defend his Intercontinental Championship against the former champion, Bron Breakker, tonight on WWE RAW. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts predicted that Jey would lose the title.
The RAW Talk host disclosed that he thinks The Bloodline will interfere to cost Jey the championship after he confronted them last Friday on WWE SmackDown:
"There's a very real possibility that Jey Uso is not leaving RAW with the Intercontinental Championship. I think there's a very real possibility that that Intercontinental Championship is going back to Bron Breakker and here's why. I think The Bloodline is gonna take it away from Jey. I think Solo, Jacob, The Tongas, whatever they have to do. I think they're gonna get involved and I think they're gonna cost Jey Uso the Intercontinental Championship," he said.
Jey has been holding the Intercontinental Championship for 28 days. It would be interesting to see if his title reign will end tonight on the red brand, as Roberts predicted.
