Major debut planned for next week's WWE SmackDown
The new Bloodline has been making moves on WWE SmackDown after Backlash in France. Today, it was announced that a member of the faction will make their debut on the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Earlier this month, Tonga Loa made a surprise appearance in France during the Street Fight between The Bloodline and R-KO. The star assisted Sikoa and his brother in securing the victory. After the match, it was revealed that Loa was the faction's newest member.
The star has appeared alongside the faction for a handful of weeks but hasn't competed inside the square circle upon his return to the promotion. Today, the company's official website announced that Tonga Loa will make his WWE in-ring debut alongside Solo Sikoa in a tag team match against The Street Profits.
"Even without Bobby Lashley, The Street Profits are out for payback, looking to take out Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa of The Bloodline. Angelo Dawkins wishes to avenge his loss to The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga in the King of the Ring Tournament. Newest Bloodline member Tonga Loa will make his WWE debut in this match as well, adding further intrigue to the bout." [H/T: WWE]
This will be Loa's first match in the promotion after he received a new name under the new regime. He was previously known as Camacho during his first run with the company.
The Bloodline's Tama Tonga is set to face Randy Orton on WWE SmackDown
The new Bloodline has been trying to make an impact on Friday Night SmackDown under Solo Sikoa's new leadership following WrestleMania in Philadelphia.
After Backlash in Lyon, Tama Tonga was announced for the King of the Ring tournament, heading into Saudi Arabia. He defeated Street Profits' Angelo Dawkins and LA Knight to qualify for the tournament's semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles and Carmelo Hayes from the blue brand's bracket. Orton and Tonga will square off against each other, and the winner will head to King and Queen of the Ring 2024 for the finals.
