Major duo's shocking yet impressive milestone ahead of WWE Bad Blood
WWE Bad Blood is days away, and a major duo reached an impressive yet shocking milestone against all odds. The duo is none other than The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Balor and McDonagh traveled the world together and competed against each other before making it big in the Stamford-based promotion and ruling The Judgment Day. The duo is no strangers to success, as they brought the World Tag Team Championship to the faction with Liv Morgan's help.
Today, The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh crossed an impressive milestone of 100 days as the champions. The two are also the longest-reigning World Tag Team Champions of the modern era, as they surpassed The Awesome Truth with the new milestone. However, the shocking aspect of it is the number of title defenses.
Apart from the famous and only defense against The New Day on WWE RAW, the two have hardly made any defenses on the live event circuit. In over 100 days, the duo had only made four title defenses in total. It'll be interesting to see which team will take the title from the heinous faction in the coming weeks or months.
The Judgment Day has no title defense lined up after WWE Bad Blood
In August 2024, The Judgment Day changed forever as Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were forced out of the group. Later, the faction's new iteration added the Women's World Champion, Liv Morgan, and Carlito. The move didn't sit well with The Terror Twins.
Later, Ripley and Priest got their hands on the stable and secured a win over Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in Germany. The win also granted them an individual match with Liv Morgan and Finn Balor, respectively, for WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta.
Elsewhere, the World Tag Team Championship hasn't been the faction's focus in the past few weeks. While The Judgment Day was seen in tag team matches, the titles were barely defended as Finn Balor was focused on getting one over Damian Priest for years of injustice.
The duo recently crossed 100 days with one televised defense, and it'll be interesting to see the state of the tag team on Monday Night RAW in the coming weeks and months.
