Major mistake with Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan segment on WWE RAW, explains Afa Anoa'i Jr.; Dominik Mysterio's involvement pivotal (Exclusive)
Roman Reigns' cousin Afa Anoa'i Jr., more famously known as former WWE star Manu, thought something was off during a segment on RAW featuring Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio. While he loved the upcoming title match's stipulation, he believed the story's execution could have been better.
This past Monday on RAW, Ripley surprised Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik when she announced that the former NXT North American Champion would be inside a shark cage at Bad Blood. He would be dangling above the ring as Mami tries to win back the Women's World Championship from her rival.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's Enter the Bloodline podcast, co-hosts Afa Anoa'i Jr. and Joe Lowry discussed Monday's segment. Afa Jr. was a fan of the old-school shark cage concept but thought that the entire promo involving Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan could have been better executed or written.
"I love the concept, old-school concept all the way. I felt like the build could have been a little bit better. I felt like the promo (…) I don't know maybe she was nervous or something. The girls were a little nervous in the [moment] but kicking off fell a little flat for me. But I love the concept, I know that the video packages are going to be awesome. Dom's gonna be awesome and once the girls work, it's going to be awesome. But for me that promo is just a hmmmm," Afa Jr. said. [15:00 - 15:30]

Rhea Ripley earned the opportunity to challenge Liv Morgan for the title she never lost after pinning the champion at WWE Bash in Berlin in their mixed tag team match. The bout also involved Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio.
WWE Hall of Famer wants to face Rhea Ripley
During a Q&A session at Monopoly Events recently, WWE Hall of Famer Lita was asked about a potential comeback and who she wanted to face if it happened.
"I think somebody that I had a very brief interaction with in the Royal Rumble, Rhea Ripley, has just grown so much and added so many layers to her character. And I think she would be great to face," Lita said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]
Lita has not wrestled since WrestleMania 39, where she teamed up with Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus to beat Damage CTRL.
