Major name to miss RAW after WWE Crown Jewel

WWE Crown Jewel made history as two inaugural Champions were crowned last night. Meanwhile, Lillian Garcia stated she's set to miss Monday Night RAW following the show in Saudi Arabia.

Last month, Lilian Garcia returned to the Stamford-based promotion as a full-time ring announcer on Monday Night RAW. The veteran's return as the voice of the show was nostalgic for the audience. However, she didn't lend her voice at WWE Crown Jewel 2024, as she did not travel to Saudi Arabia.

Today, Garcia uploaded a story on Instagram and addressed her absence from the event in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, she stated she won't be on Monday Night RAW, the fallout of Crown Jewel, and wished everyone good luck with the weekly programming. Check it out:

"I'm not in Saudi Arabia this weekend but super excited to fan out to this event today & RAW on Monday! Good luck to all @wwe athletes!," Garcia wrote.

Why did Lilian Garcia return to WWE?

Lilian Garcia has made a huge name in the industry as a ring announcer for over two decades. With around three runs in WWE, Garcia has lent her voice to some iconic introductions in the Stamford-based promotion's history.

Earlier this year, Samantha Irvin was the voice of Monday Night RAW. The 35-year-old star had been with the company for a few years and made a name for herself as an upcoming ring announcer.

Last month, it was revealed that Irvin had stepped down from her position as the ring announcer on Monday Night RAW and left the company. The sudden departure was filled with questions from the fans, but the show needed a credible replacement.

Later, Lilian Garcia returned to the Stamford-based promotion and resumed her previous role, which Irvin left in October. The 35-year-old stated she wanted to pursue different opportunities outside the company, which was one of the reasons behind her departure.

Over the weekend, Mike Rome was the announcer in Saudi Arabia when Garcia was unable to make it to the event. It'll be interesting to see when the veteran returns to Monday Night RAW.
