Major spoilers revealed for WWE Halloween Havoc; top title to change hands?
The fifth annual WWE NXT Halloween Havoc PLE is set to kick off in just a few hours. As momentum from the launch of the CW era builds, WWE's official third brand is set to present five big matches tonight, including three title bouts. New information has just revealed potential spoilers for tonight.
Tonight's loaded Halloween Havoc PLE will be headlined by Ethan Page vs. NXT Champion Trick Williams in a Devil's Playground match. Oba Femi will get his North American Championship rematch from Tony D'Angelo under a Tables, Ladders & Scares stipulation. The D'Angelo Family is banned from ringside, and pinfall is the only way to win. The third biggest match on the card seems to be Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade vs. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer in tag team action.
The Don of NXT is currently favored to retain his North American Championship at Halloween Havoc, according to final odds from BetOnline. Femi (+500) vs. D'Angelo (-900) may be the most-anticipated match of the night. However, while the champion is the favorite, the challenger is not far off from a potential win, adding to rumors and speculation on Femi regaining the gold.
NXT's newcomers to the women's division are expected to take a big win tonight as well. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer (-2500) are the heavy favorites over the current NXT Women's Champion and Cora Jade (+850). Perez and Jade seemingly being so far away from a victory is fueling speculation on WWE officials pulling a potential surprise or swerve in this match.
The Anointed One is set to continue his second reign with the NXT Championship. Page (+1200) vs. Williams (-5000) is not expected to end in a title change as the champion is the favorite in a major way. There has been speculation on Williams really being the face of NXT with this reign, and tonight's win could cement that direction.
WWE NXT Halloween Havoc will air live from the Giant Center in Hershey, PA tonight at 7 p.m. ET. The card will also see Women's North American Champion Kelani Jordan defend against one member of Fatal Influence, with a stipulation to be decided. Ridge Holland vs. Andre Chase in an Ambulance Match was also announced.
