Major stakes match announced for WWE SmackDown
The Road to WWE SummerSlam will stop at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska for tonight's live SmackDown. Officials have stacked the card tonight, and now it's been revealed how a big match with championship implications is planned.
Tiffany Stratton is WWE's youngest Miss Money in the Bank ever. The 25-year-old has aligned herself with Nia Jax while targeting the Women's Championship, currently held by Bayley. Stratton warned the rest of the blue brand women's division after a potential cash-in last week.
Officials have announced Stratton vs. Mia Yim for tonight's SmackDown. Michin could be the one to foil a potential Money in the Bank cash-in on this week's show, as WWE is touting her new level of aggression.
"Michin has recently found a whole new level of aggression. What will happen when the Kendo stick-wielding Superstar runs on Tiffy Time and tangles with Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton? Don't miss all the action of SmackDown, tonight at 8/7 C on FOX," reads the official match preview.
The Blonde Bombshell will be looking to continue her winning streak over Michin on tonight's show. Stratton won their first match on SmackDown in February, which was her official debut, and then the rematch one month later. Stratton also won a dark match one month after that, and in May, she defeated Yim at a non-televised live event.
The following was also announced for tonight's SmackDown: Cody Rhodes will respond to The Bloodline, Logan Paul returns following a challenge from LA Knight, and Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes.
