Major star could fill in for Roman Reigns after he returns to SmackDown, says ex-WWE star
Roman Reigns might be weeks away from returning to WWE after WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Aiden English recently stated that Randy Orton could fill in for The Tribal Chief as the next big heel on Friday Night SmackDown when he returns.
Roman Reigns as The Tribal Chief terrorized Friday Night SmackDown for years alongside The Bloodline. However, Solo Sikoa's Bloodline hasn't been able to make the same impact as the original group heading into The Biggest Party of the Summer in Ohio.
Speaking on the Rebooked Wrestling Podcast, former WWE star Aiden English, now known as Matthew Rehwoldt, pitched the idea of Randy Orton turning heel and replacing Roman Reigns as the next big heel on Friday Night SmackDown. The 36-year-old star also believes that The Viper has a championship run in him upon turning heel.
"I think Randy could fill that, depending on when he's coming back, Roman Reigns kind of role. He's kind of big-time, stoic heel champion; he's that kind of personality. [Does he get another championship run?] He could. He's still in incredible shape," English said. (From 16:10 to 16:32)

Solo Sikoa's Bloodline recently took out Randy Orton on WWE SmackDown
Earlier this year, Randy Orton decided to go after Solo Sikoa's Bloodline when Tama Tonga brutally attacked Kevin Owens. The duo went by R-KO and feuded with the new iteration of the Samoan faction.
However, Owens and Orton often came up short on several occasions as Solo Sikoa introduced new members such as Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu in the coming months on Friday Night SmackDown.
In Toronto at WWE Money in the Bank, Sikoa got the upper hand with his group when he pinned Cody Rhodes and defeated his team. Later, the former North American Champion decided to eliminate The American Nightmare's allies.
Earlier this month, Solo Sikoa's Bloodline went after Randy Orton. The villainous group attacked the 14-time World Champion and put him through the announce table before closing the show.
The veteran is currently written off television, and Kevin Owens joined the list as well. In the recent edition of WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline took out The Prizefighter in a similar fashion in front of the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes.
