Major star spotted with Shawn Michaels ahead of WWE NXT

There will be a huge Battle Royal tonight on WWE NXT and Shawn Michaels has been spotted with a major star outside of the company before tonight's action kicks off. The winner of tonight's Battle Royal will earn a shot at NXT Champion Trick Williams.

Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels has been spotted with a veteran of the wrestling business ahead of tonight's edition of NXT. Former AEW talent and current TNA star Frankie Kazarian was spotted with The Heartbreak Kid ahead of this week's editon of WWE NXT. Michaels shared a photo of the two stars backstage ahead of tonight's show and noted that you never know who is going to show up on NXT.

"You just never know who will stop by #WWENXT. 8/7c @USANetwork," he wrote.

Shawn Michaels has been having a tremendous amount of success booking WWE NXT of late and it appears tonight is shaping up to be another eventful show. TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace recently showed up in NXT and challenged Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground but came up short. Former AEW star Ethan Page also debuted in the developmental brand in recent weeks but was unable to dethone Williams at Battleground earlier this month at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. It will be fascinating to see what surprises are in store for tonight's episode of WWE NXT.
