Major stipulation announced for match at WWE Bash in Berlin

WWE Bash in Berlin is scheduled to air live from the Uber Arena on August 31 in Berlin, Germany. Three bouts have been made official thus far, out of which one has high stakes.

Home country hero Gunther will defend his newly won World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at the event. If The Legend Killer walks out of Uber Arena with the World Heavyweight Championship, the duo will switch brands. The Ring General debuted on SmackDown in April 2022 and spent an entire year on the blue brand before getting drafted to RAW in April 2023.

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Orton made an intriguing statement, ergo clearing the air about his sudden showing on the flagship show last week:

"His [Gunther] Friday nights aren't going to be free anymore, and Monday Night RAW is going to be my new home," Randy Orton noted during his in-ring segment with The Ring General.

TNA star Matt Hardy, who is known worldwide for his tenure in WWE, recently discussed former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's tendency to book talents to lose in their hometowns. While the company is now under new management, Randy Orton is a big enough name who cannot be ruled out as a potential winner in the upcoming showdown.

Randy Orton wants John Cena at WWE WrestleMania with a world title on the line

John Cena seems adamant that once he competes in his last match for WWE in December 2025, he will never step back into the squared circle for competition. He recently stated that no amount of money can bring him out of retirement.

This means his last WrestleMania match will take place in Las Vegas over Easter weekend in April 2025. Randy Orton hopes that he and Cena will get to cap off their legendary rivalry on the grand stage in a singles bout for the top prize of the company:

"A dream match for me would be to somehow find myself in a situation where I'm fighting Cena, at WrestleMania, for the title," Orton stated.

The Viper's last world title win was in October 2020, when he defeated Drew McIntyre in a 30-minute Hell in a Cell contest. On a side note, in an unfortunate stat that emerged online, it was noted that Orton had not won a singles match since WrestleMania 37 in 2021.
