WWE News: Shinsuke Nakamura wins the NXT championship at NXT Osaka
For the first time in history, The stars of NXT rolled into the Land of the Rising Sun, for a big show in Osaka Japan, at the Edion Arena. All of the top NXT stars were on hand for this historic event, as well as a few surprises. Fans in attendance were delighted to see someone they had gotten very familiar with over the years, Andrade "Cien" Almas.
The Japanese fans remember him better as "La Sombra." Fans were also pleased to find out that the Japanese Buzzsaw, Tajiri was also booked for this event as well. Tajiri would team with Akira Tozawa to take on DIY for the NXT Tag Team Titles.

Nia Jax made her return to NXT to challenge NXT Women’s Champion Asuka, for her title. Plus, Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger would continue their current rivalry, as they went to war in a Triple Threat match, which also included Elias Samson.
But, the major news of the evening happened during the main event, when Samoa Joe put his NXT Championship on the line, as he defended against the local hero, Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe and won his NXT Championship back.
