Major TNA name competes in first-ever tag match in WWE; his first appearance in Triple H-led promotion was in 2014!
A Major TNA name just competed in his first-ever WWE tag match. His first appearance for the Triple H-led promotion was back in 2014.
Due to his personality and charisma, Joe Hendry is among the most popular stars on the TNA roster. As a result, he has become a household name among wrestling fans. It should be no surprise that he has drawn interest from WWE.
A couple of weeks ago, Joe Hendry made his WWE in-ring debut in a battle royal. However, he was eliminated as soon as the match started. Tonight on NXT, Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans were set to face Ethan Page and Shawn Spears. However, Evans was taken out by Brooks Jensen before the match.
As a result, Trick Williams had to find a new tag team partner. After multiple teases throughout the show, Joe Hendry came out to team with the former NXT Champion.
This was Joe's first tag team match in the Triple H-led promotion. His first appearance for the company came in 2014 when he appeared as a Russian diplomat on an episode of RAW alongside Rusev and Lana.
It will be interesting to see if Joe Hendry will make more appearances in NXT.
