Major Women's clash set for next week's WWE RAW

A match has been made official for next week's edition of WWE RAW. It has also been announced that CM Punk will be appearing on next Monday's episode of the red brand.

Last night on RAW, Sonya Deville returned to the ring and battled Zelina Vega in a singles match. Shayna Baszler interfered in the match and went after the Latino World Order member's arm. Sonya Deville capitalized and picked up the pinfall victory. After the match, Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler continued to attack Zelina Vega before Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, and Lyra Valkyria broke it up.

It was later announced that Sonya Deville will be squaring off against Lyra Valkyria in a singles match next week on RAW. Katana Chance also promoted the match on her Instagram story, and you can check it out by clicking here.

Lyra Valkyria reflects on her rise in WWE

Former NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria recently commented on her rise in WWE. The 27-year-old was called up to the main roster during this year's WWE Draft.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Kevin Kellam, the RAW star commented on joining the main roster. She noted that everything has moved so fast, and she now has the opportunity to face some of her dream opponents.

"It does move so fast. It's crazy. You dream about stepping into the ring against some of these women that you're watching, coming up the whole time, and then suddenly you are across the ring from them, and then it's no longer like, 'What if this happens?' Then it's just, 'Well, I gotta see what I got right here right now and prove myself now.' It's insane." [1:43 – 2:00]
