Major WWE champion set to miss RAW; shares update confirming he's left Saudi Arabia
The dust from Crown Jewel has now settled and it seems that all the stars who have not been booked for WWE RAW taping later today have all left the country. One of these stars is dual champion Cody Rhodes.
It was expected that he would be part of RAW so that Triple H could make a speech about the first Crown Jewel Champions, but it seems that he has now made his exit and headed to the UK ahead of the four-day tour.
It seems that a number of names including Bayley and Kevin Owens are expected to be booked for the UK and Ireland tour and will be heading to the UK before today's taping.
This also confirms that Rhodes' rivalry with Gunther has now come to an end, despite the shock finish of their match at Crown Jewel, it seems Gunther will now have his eye on the Fatal Four-way Match on RAW to decide his next challenger.
Cody Rhodes will have a new focus on WWE SmackDown this week following Crown Jewel
Now that Cody Rhodes has overcome Gunther, it's worth noting that he has a championship to defend and will be looking forward to his next challenger. Following the Randy Orton match against Kevin Owens, that never even started, it's likely that Owens is the man who steps up to Rhodes at Survivor Series.
Rhodes and Owens already had an issue at WWE Bad Blood and it appears that The American Nightmare will be happy to step up and exact some revenge for the assault that he was subjected to in the parking lot.
Rhodes has been focused on his issues with Gunther recently but now he can turn his focus to SmackDown and his own title, as well as his current issues with his former friend.
