Major WWE cover up at Bad Blood insinuated by real-life Bloodline member; Triple H booked shocking return to hide a botch (Exclusive)
A real-life Bloodline member believed the Triple H-led creative team booked a WWE star's shocking return at Bad Blood to cover up a major botch. The Bloodline member in question is The Rock's cousin, Lloyd Anoa'i.
At WWE Bad Blood 2024, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan locked horns once again for the Women's World Championship. The Eradicator made sure Morgan did not have any outside assistance from Dominik Mysterio this time, as the latter was suspended inside a Shark Cage.
During the bout, Dirty Dom somehow opened the cage and tried to jump down. However, the former NXT North American Champion's foot got wrapped up in the chain and he ended up hanging upside down midair. The Eradicator took advantage of the situation and started hitting her former Judgment Day teammate with a kendo stick.
Following this spot, Raquel Rodriguez made her shocking return to WWE television and took out Rhea Ripley. The chaos led to the referee calling for the bell to ring, and the match ended awkwardly in a DQ.
During Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bad Blood post-show review, real-life Bloodline member Lloyd Anoa'i said that he does not believe the end of Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan went as expected by WWE. He also mentioned that he thought Raquel Rodriguez's involvement would not have happened if Dominik Mysterio had not gotten stuck in midair.
"I don't think it went correctly the way it was supposed to be. I think something happened with the cage, with Dom coming out, and I think, I don't know, even if Raquel [Rodriguez] was supposed to come out. Maybe they just threw that as a curveball to try to cover up what they were doing," he said. [From 17:59 - 18:18]
Lloyd Anoa'i added that he believed the Triple H-lead creative team brought Raquel Rodriguez into the picture to hide Dom's botch.
"I'm not sure because I don't see her coming into that, they're just doing that angle with Rhea Ripley. So I don't see how Raquel comes [into] the picture. So I'm thinking, maybe [a] possibility that they probably had to do that to cover up or whatever, but I definitely think there was a botch there for sure," he added. [From 18:18 - 18:40]

Bill Apter believes Rhea Ripley should have focused on the title at WWE Bad Blood
During the same Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bad Blood post-show review, Bill Apter said that he believed Rhea Ripley going after Dominik Mysterio in the middle of her title match was a major botch, and she should have focused on Liv Morgan.
"Here we're looking at her to win the title, and she goes out and just tells the referee, 'Oh, I'll be right back; I want to—,' and the referee just—I think that was botched. Completely. You're going after the title; what are you going out for? You know, you've got this thing against Dominik; I get it, but you want to win the title. That's what you're there for," he said.
It remains to be seen what WWE has planned for Ripley and Morgan's feud going forward.
