Major WWE match pulled from RAW

This week's episode of WWE RAW was one of the best of the year as Seth Rollins made his surprise return, Drew McIntyre quit the company and Uncle Howdy made his return.

It seems that the show was so stacked that there was one match that wasn't part of the show despite being advertised. Ahead of this week's episode of RAW, Karrion Kross and Xavier Woods were set to go one-on-one but this never aired.

Instead, there was a backstage segment where the two stars exchanged insults and seemingly set up a match for next week's show. Kross was then seemingly part of the backstage attack that was led by Uncle Howdy since he was one of several stars who were backstage at the time.

This isn't the first time that WWE has pulled a match from a show at the last minute, but it could be argued that the time that was spent on the backstage segment could have been used for their match instead.

Was the match pulled from WWE RAW because of time constraints?

Interestingly, ahead of RAW, there were rumors that the match could have been pulled since there wasn't any advertising for the match ahead of the show. Woods and Kross shared the match promo on their Instagram accounts ahead of the show, which could have been before they were told that it wasn't happening.

This could be because of some last-minute changes or because something else was added to the show instead, but it seems likely that this was just the match that was bumped because WWE knew it could happen another time.

Many fans believe this was the best episode of RAW of 2024 and even though the match between the two men was canceled, they were still able to be part of teh show overall.
