Major WWE name sides with Kevin Owens amid controversy; believes Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes' assailant has been 'silenced'
Kevin Owens has been unhinged since WWE Bad Blood when he attacked Cody Rhodes. Owens followed it up by delivering a Piledriver to Randy Orton on SmackDown two weeks ago. However, KO seemingly received the support of Cathy Kelley amid the controversy.
Owens, Orton, and Rhodes went through hell over the past year due to their issues with The Bloodline. Things went south when Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood, leading to a backstage brawl after the show.
Orton had an issue with Owens' action but was on the receiving end of a Piledriver that put him on the injury list. Despite what has happened in the past two months, Kelley wants to offer KO, who she thinks is being silenced, the opportunity to talk and clear his name.
"I also really enjoy interviewing Kevin Owens. I feel like he has been a little bit silenced recently and deserves a little bit more time to talk, so I would love to give him more of an opportunity to do so," Kelley said on the '#B4theBell' podcast. [From 22:22 to 22:35]

Kevin Owens is currently suspended for his actions but he will return for a segment on SmackDown next Friday. Some members of the WWE Universe believe that Owens' actions are justified since he felt betrayed by Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
Cathy Kelley and Kevin Owens were involved in an accident
In the same appearance on the #B4theBell podcast, Cathy Kelley discussed being in an accident in Saudi Arabia. Kelley was with Kevin Owens at the time, and they were riding in a dune buggy. It stumbled several times, but they were lucky to not suffer any significant injuries.
"We just got into a kind of traumatizing accident when we were in Saudi Arabia when we were in a dune buggy. I kind of credit him for saving my life in that moment. We rolled three and a half times in a dune buggy. He said his initial instinct was to protect me. I was holding onto a safety rail, he was right behind me. We could have gotten much more banged up than we did. We were really lucky that we walked out of it relatively unscathed," Kelley said. [H/T: Fightful]
It will be interesting to see if when Kevin Owens gets an opportunity to voice his frustrations freely on WWE television.
