Major WWE name teases possible return after nearly two years

WWE Superstars are headed to Canada for WarGames, and one major name in particular teased a possible return to the Stamford-based promotion. Today, multi-time women's champion Alexa Bliss mysteriously teased a return.

In 2023, Alexa Bliss made her final appearance for WWE as she competed in a title match against Bianca Belair for the RAW Women's Championship at Royal Rumble. The Goddess took a maternal leave and hasn't returned to the Stamford-based promotion in nearly two years.

Today, Alexa Bliss sent a cryptic message on X (fka Twitter), which teased a potential return of the star soon. The multi-time Women's Champion reacted to a post where fans were discussing promos. The 33-year-old star, who's been known to cut some slick promos, reacted and sent a message.

"Just you wait 🎤," Bliss wrote.

Last year, Alexa Bliss and her husband welcomed their first child in November 2023. Earlier this year, rumors were floating around a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion. However, nothing has come to fruition as of now.

Alexa Bliss has made history in WWE

In 2016, Alexa Bliss made her way to WWE's main roster from the developmental brand. Little Miss Bliss thrived under Vince McMahon's creative leadership, as she was part of several historic moments in the Stamford-based promotion's history.

In 2017, she made history by becoming the first woman to win the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships. A feat that was rare when both titles were introduced by the management.

Apart from becoming one of the longest-reigning RAW Women's Champions, Bliss also won the inaugural Women's Elimination Chamber Match, where she defended her title heading into WrestleMania 34.

Little Miss Bliss has won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on different occasions. She was last seen as an active competitor assigned to Monday Night RAW in 2023.

There's a possibility she could make a grand return to the Stamford-based promotion at Royal Rumble 2025. However, it'll be interesting to see when Alexa Bliss returns to in-ring competition.
