Major WWE star announced for match outside the company

A major WWE Superstar will be competing in a match outside of the promotion later this month. The company is coming off of a successful Money in the Bank this past Saturday night in Toronto, Canada.

Shayna Baszler competed at GCW Bloodsport earlier this year and defeated Masha Slamovich via TKO. The Queen of Spades will be competing at Josh Barnett's: Bloodsport XI in New York later this month. She will be squaring off against Miyu Yamashita at the event in Brooklyn on July 28. John Barnett took to social media to hype the match and claimed it would be the hardest-hitting event in all of wrestling.

"Two fierce warriors of the ring. Two battle hardened women through martial arts and pro wrestling training. Two meeting for the first time in the hardest hitting event in all of Professional Wrestling. The kicks of Miyu Yamashita taking on the submission holds of "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler at Josh Barnett's:Bloodsport XI," he wrote.

Shayna Baszler is now part of a new faction on WWE RAW alongside Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville. The group attacked Damage CTRL following their victory last night on WWE RAW and Baszler sent a warning following the attack earlier today on social media.

Shayna Baszler discloses that she is open to teaming up with WWE RAW star

Shayna Baszler recently shared that she wouldn't mind being in a tag team with Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai someday.

Baszler's faction attacked Damage CTRL last night on RAW after the faction defeated Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance in a Six-Woman Tag Team match.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling last year, the former MMA star was asked if she would ever be in a tag team with Dakota Kai. Baszler noted that Kai can take a beating and wouldn't be opposed to being in a team with her.

"If that presented itself for whatever reason, [then] yeah, I'm not opposed to that. She can take a beating. I've given it to her plenty of times. I know that wouldn't be wasted."

Shayna Baszler has never won a singles title on the promotion's main roster but is a two-time NXT Women's Champion. Only time will tell what the promotion has planned for the veteran's new faction on RAW.
