Major WWE star breaks character to motivate fan

A popular WWE Superstar has broken character following last night's episode of RAW to send a message to a wrestling fan. Last night was the final edition of the red brand ahead of WWE SummerSlam this Saturday night.

Bronson Reed squared off against Sheamus in a singles match last night on RAW. Sheamus was in control of the match before Pete Dunne got involved. The Bruiserweight bashed The Celtic Warrior over the head with a shillelagh and Bronson Reed capitalized on the interference. The former North American Champion connected with the Tsunami Splash for the pinfall victory.

A wrestling fan sent a message to Reed following RAW and said the veteran motivated him. Reed broke character to respond to the fan's message on his Instagram story and told him to "Keep going."

Reed has never captured a title on the main roster. He had multiple chances to win the Intercontinental Championship earlier this year but came up short.

Konnan comments on Bronson Reed's run in WWE so far

Wrestling legend Konnan recently highlighted a major issue he has with Bronson Reed's presentation in the company.

Reed was released in 2021 but returned to the promotion the following year. Speaking on his Keepin It 100 podcast, Konnan noted that the company doesn't appear to have a plan for Reed on the main roster. He compared Reed to Ricochet, and stated he was a victim of "start-stop" booking.

"Here's the problem with Bronson Reed, and they [WWE] used to do this a lot. They don't do it as much anymore, but he's a victim of start-stop, start-stop. Same thing, Ricochet was a victim of [sic] and others," Konnan said. (From 08:25 to 08:40)

Reed was not booked for the past two WrestleMania events and made it known that he was unhappy about it. Only time will tell if the promotion has anything substantial planned for the 35-year-old moving forward on WWE television.
