Major WWE star breaks character to praise The Usos, aka Jimmy and Jey Uso

The Usos have done it all in WWE in the past 14 years. Recently, the biggest Bloodline adversary, Kevin Owens, broke character and spoke highly of Jimmy and Jey Uso.

In 2023, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens united to take down Roman Reigns' empire and went after The Usos. The duo dethroned Jimmy and Jey Uso at The Grandest Stage of Them All in California for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

In a video titled WWE Retrospective, Kevin Owens spoke highly of his feud with The Bloodline, especially The Usos. The Prizefighter called them the greatest tag team in the industry and detailed his feud with Jimmy and Jey Uso heading into The Showcase of The Immortals:

"But then, this story happened with The Bloodline. And everything the way it unfolded, it made too much sense for me not to be involved... I was adamant that Sami needed to be the one to end it. Because of his story and everything that happened between him and Jey [Uso] and The Bloodline, I don't think we could've told a better story and found a better way to do it," Owens said.

He added:

"If you're talking about tag team wrestling, man, The Usos are just the best. There's just something about how they do tag team wrestling, how they view tag team wrestling, and how they think about tag team wrestling that's unmatched," Owens said. (From 34:30 to 35:46)

Kevin Owens also praised The Usos' cousin, Roman Reigns, ahead of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens spent years feuding with each other for the Universal Championship across both brands. The Prizefighter's anger towards the Original Tribal Chief and his actions alongside The Usos is somewhat justified.

In the same interview, the 40-year-old star broke character while he spoke about the Fatal-Four-Way Match where he became the Universal Champion. The Prizefighter said he wasn't close with Roman Reigns but respected the star:

"The thing about this is I got to be in the ring with two guys I was very close with, Big Cass and Seth [Rollins], and Roman [Reigns], who I wasn't so close with, but I really respected him a lot," Owens said.

The Canadian star is set to face Cody Rhodes for his title at Saturday Night's Main Event.
