Major WWE star claims that statue honoring NBA legend looks like Batista
A major WWE Superstar hilariously claimed that a statue honoring an NBA legend resembled Batista ahead of tonight's edition of RAW. Batista has not wrestled since his loss to Triple H in a No Holds Barred match at WWE WrestleMania 35.
The New Day's Xavier Woods took to social media today to react to the Miami Heat's statue honoring NBA star Dwyane Wade being revealed. Woods shared a picture of the statue and added the lyrics to Batista's theme music, suggesting that it looked more like the former champion than Dwyane Wade.
"A PLACE WHERE NO ONE FOLLOWS ME I WALK ALOOOOOOOOOOOOO," he wrote.
The New Day will be competing in a high-stakes match tonight on WWE RAW. Woods and Kingston are scheduled to battle the War Raiders and Latino World Order's Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee to determine the next challengers for The Judgment Day's World Tag Team Championship.
Last week on WWE RAW, The New Day picked up a victory over The Authors of Pain to advance in the tournament. R-Truth attacked The Miz ringside during the match, and The New Day was able to capitalize on the distraction. Woods opted not to help R-Truth after the match while he was being attacked by The Final Testament and attempted to explain his actions in a video earlier this week.
WWE legend comments on Batista's appearance
Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently commented on Batista's appearance, as the legend has lost a lot of weight due to his career in Hollywood.
Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the legendary manager shared his thoughts on The Animal's weight loss. Mantell claimed that the 55-year-old was "horrible looking" and suggested that he currently weighed less than 200 pounds.
"Good god, my god. That's... yep. He's horrible looking. The body... what's he... what's he weigh now? He gotta weigh under 200. He looks really thin. Hey, if you took his... I could tell by the face, but if you took his face off, you couldn't tell who that was at all." [0:26-0:57]

Batista had a remarkable career in the wrestling business and has found success in Hollywood following his days in the ring. It will be interesting to see if the legend makes any more appearances for WWE down the line.
