Major WWE star comments on his surprise return at Saturday Night's Main Event
A major WWE star commented on his surprise return at Saturday Night's Main Event. The show took place at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this past Saturday night in Long Island, New York.
McAfee returned to the commentary table at Saturday Night's Main Event. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, the former NFL punter discussed his surprise appearance at the show. He noted that he was thankful to be back and was able to appear because one of his commitments for ESPN's College Gameday had been canceled.
"It was awesome. I was so lucky and thankful to be back,” Pat McAfee said. "The fact that they even asked me to do it, because I thought we were going Army [versus] Navy, College GameDay, and then found out a few weeks back, not doing it. Somehow, some way, it ended up not happening. I was bummed. So I didn’t get to do that, so then when Saturday Night’s Main Event happens to be the same weekend, conversations took place." McAfee added that he was honored to call the action with Michael Cole again and enjoyed his appearance at Saturday Night's Main Event. You can check out his comments in the post below.
